Grossest day of the season. Barely eeked out 16 miles due to Code Orange air quality. I’m moving to New Hampshire.

Oof…between us moving and me going on tour, it’s been FOREVER since I’ve ridden. Now that I am back and fully moved in I need to get some serious miles. Jessie and I went out after work and did an easy 10 miles through our new neighborhood and into Rock Creek Park. Much more to come.

I decided to get an early start this morning since we have a lot of packing to do. My legs were still tired for early this week so I felt like I was slower than usual. I wasn’t too happy with the ride so I decided to push myself up Murry Hill, which is super long/steep. I made it up and rewarded myself with a nice descent down it (hit 40mph) and cruised on back home.

I was planning on resting today. My legs were still tired from yesterday’s ride but I bought some bike stuff online this morning and wanted to justify the expense. Today I explored some areas around my apartment that I had never ridden and always wanted to. What I found were tons of rolling hills. I will definitely come back out here again. Rest day tomorrow.

Amerrrica. We went out with Jessie’s dad around Baltimore County this morning. Great roads and some awesome hills. Watching the Tour makes for good inspiration.
